Admission Procedure

A prospective parent will be advised to purchase the school form and previous school records and teacher recommendations will be requested for prior to the admission of new pupils. Prior grades and achievement test scores will be taken into consideration before admission. Upon receipt of admission materials, an assessment of the prospective student will be done and a feedback will be sent to parents within a week as a provisional offer letter or refusal letter. Parent will be advised to make a security deposit payment. Please note that we may request an independent assessment from an approved Special Educational Needs (SEN) practitioner if we suspect any significant disability .

 

The Criteria for admission:

  • The application form must be collected, completed and submitted before the entrance examination where applicable. Successful Pupils in all areas of assessment will be enrolled.
  • The admission officer will request for the child’s birth certificates and immunization records.
  • The Admission officer shall also request for the child’s last school report in cases of a transfer.
  • Boarding facilities are available for only to pupils who are 10 years and above.

 

Enrolment to Nursery

Children who want admission into the Nursery and Reception classes must have attained ages 3 and 4 at the beginning of the school year. The children admitted into Nursery and Reception classes do not require a written test; the Head of Nursery will only conduct an oral interview to ascertain an appropriate placement.

 

Enrolment to Primary

A child seeking admission to the primary class must have attained the stipulated age by September of the year of admission. The closing date for application is last day of March in the year of admission. Entry age for year 1 is 5years.

 

Enrolment to Secondary

The entry age for the secondary school is 10 years; as such pupils seeking admission into secondary school will be required to have clocked the stipulated age by September. An entrance exam will be conducted four times each session. Pupils who miss these dates will be rescheduled to a later date if spaces are available.
